Salama or Alien Spell

Officially this figure is called "Salama" by Siccaluna-Koubou. Slated to be release last year or the year before, somehow it was cancelled. Many believed that it resembles Alien Spell- the infamous Alien from the banned episode of Ultraseven. Somehow, the alien was referred to as a victim of an atomic bomb and due to lobbying from a certain group Tsuburaya was pressured to cancel the show. I'm not sure if Tsuburaya and SK communicated. Perhaps the similarities are so close that SK felt compelled to not release it.

However, SK did give them out as gift for their new membership drive. It came in white or black. I wonder if a painted version will ever see the light of day.

Ultraseven TDF PO-1

Ok, so this isn't vinyl but hey it belongs to a tokusatsu hero. Made by Unifive this is a very well detailed die-cast model. Doors and hood open and the interior details and engine are just awesome! The front tyre even rotates.

Spectreman Shelf

Here's a motley crew of Spectreman figures. I'm currently watching the DVD and I'm totally enjoying it! The production of the series was really crude compared to Ultraman but it somehow worked. The monsters and even Spectreman were all too fake, LOL! FUN!
Having said that, I think the series boast one of the most unique and creative kaiju in any series.
